TOP-RANKED HOSPITALS BY U.S. NEWS PROVIDE OUTPATIENT CARE AT PATRIOT PLACE
September 2, 2020 – U.S. News & World Report recently published its 2020-21 Best Hospitals Rankings, and for Patriot Place guests, there are a few names that stuck out from the rest. Patriot Place congratulates Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital and Spaulding Rehabilitation Network, all with health care centers at Patriot Place, for their recognition for national excellence.U.S. News ranked Mass General and Brigham and Women’s No. 6 and No. 12, respectively, on the Best Hospitals Honor Roll. The annual rankings highlight 20 hospitals across the country that excel across most or all types of care as evaluated by U.S. News. Mass General was ranked in the top 10 across the nation for 11 specialties, including top five rankings for cardiology and heart surgery; diabetes and endocrinology, ophthalmology; psychiatry and rehabilitation in partnership with Spaulding.Rising one spot from last year’s Honor Roll ranking, Brigham & Women’s Hospital received top 10 rankings for five specialties: cancer in partnership with the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute); cardiology and heart surgery; gynecology; nephrology and rheumatology. Mass General and the Brigham were also ranked No. 1 and No. 2 overall in the state of Massachusetts.
Additionally, the Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital was ranked No. 2 in the nation for rehabilitation, matching its highest rank ever. Spaulding Outpatient Center for Children Foxborough is now open at Patriot Place and accepting new patients.
