Hendler Family Brewing Company Introduces Mass Appeal Draught House & Grille To Patriot Place
A New Craft Beer Destination Arrives In June 2026
May 28, 2026 – Hendler Family Brewing Company (HFBC) is proud to announce the upcoming opening of Mass Appeal Draught House & Grille, a brand-new concept located in the former Wormtown Brewery Patriot Place taproom that will bring together all of the Hendler Family Brewing Company’s brands. Launching in early June, Mass Appeal arrives just in time for an exciting summer of special events, offering locals and international visitors an authentic slice of New England hospitality.
The opening of Mass Appeal marks a significant evolution of the 3,325-square-foot space, which has been redesigned from a traditional taproom into a full-service restaurant. The extensive five-month renovation includes an expanded kitchen, a newly designed bar featuring indoor and outdoor seating, and a striking new 16-tap tower.
Mass Appeal will exclusively feature a rotating selection of Massachusetts-based beers from HFBC’s renowned family of brands, including Jack’s Abby Craft Lagers, Wormtown Brewery, Night Shift, and Masshole Light. In addition to its craft beer focus, the restaurant will expand its offerings this fall to include wine and liquor sourced from local Massachusetts purveyors.
“We’re excited to create a space that showcases the incredible craft beer being brewed right here in Massachusetts while welcoming visitors from near and far to experience New England hospitality,” said Sam Hendler, Co-Founder and CEO of Hendler Family Brewing Company. “Mass Appeal is about celebrating independent brewing, local flavor, and the community that makes Massachusetts such a special place for craft beer. With people traveling to Patriot Place from across the country and around the world, this is an opportunity to continue spreading the word about the quality, creativity, and passion behind locally brewed beer in our state.”
“Hendler Family Brewing shares our love of local flavors and spending time with family and friends. Their Mass Appeal Draught House & Grille will deliver this unbeatable combination in a freshly designed craft beer destination,” said Brian Earley, Vice President and General Manager of Patriot Place. “We’re looking forward to welcoming our guests to this reimagined space in the heart of Patriot Place this June.”
The culinary heart of Mass Appeal is led by Head of Culinary Casey Wilkins, who has developed a menu centered on New England classics with a playful twist. Some of the standout dishes include:
- Mass Appeal Burger – A double smash burger inspired by the iconic North Shore “Three-Way,” topped with beer cheese sauce, BBQ mayo, shaved onions, pickles, and crispy onion strings
- Sloppy Jack Sliders – Slow braised lamb ragu, parmesan, and mint gremolada on slider buns.
- Stuffed Quahog Tots – Crispy fried quahog stuffing with Portuguese chouriço, herbs, and clam broth, served with a lemon chipotle remoulade.
The venue boasts a total capacity of 144 guests, with 108 seats inside and 36 seats on the outdoor patio. For major events and game days, Mass Appeal features a dedicated outdoor TV, a “To Go Beer” serving station, and an outdoor grill to enhance the atmosphere for visitors to Patriot Place.
The space also includes a new retail area showcasing the full HFBC brand portfolio and is available for private events and full buyouts.
