September 11th Memorial Garden Commemorating the 20th Anniversary and 9/11 Steel from the World Trade Center on Display

September 9, 2021 – Earlier today, New England Patriots Chairman and CEO Robert Kraft, President of Kraft Family Philanthropies Josh Kraft, Patriot Place Vice President & General Manager Brian Earley, New England Revolution President Brian Bilello, and Executive Director of Community Affairs Andre Tippett all helped plant the final tree in our September 11th memorial garden.

The garden features a semi-circle of six flowering trees, which represent the six New England States. It also includes a bronze plaque commemorating the 20th anniversary of the attacks.
Tribute stones are placed a the bottom of each tree, with the names of victims who lost their lives during the deadly attacks. The stones were made by players from the Patriots and Revolution, along with Patriots cheerleaders and staff members.
A September 11 mural will also be on display outside of 200 Patriot Place. It will be open to the public Thursday through Sunday, featuring six panels and tribute stones. Newburyport Fire Department will also be displaying two pieces of steel from the World Trade Center this weekend inside of 200 Patriot Place.
