July 27, 2020 – As we all work through this difficult time together, seeing a smiling face is more important than ever. However, it’s also essential for everyone to wear a mask and protect each other.

But Davio’s was able to find a solution. Since reopening back in June under state guidelines, all staff have pinned a photo of themselves next to their heart, showing their smiling faces and personality while remaining masked. This innovative approach provides guests with the full picture of each employee as they enjoy Davio’s delicious food and relaxing ambiance.

“We are all social people. We work in the restaurant business for a reason,” said Steve DiFillippo, chef and owner of Davio’s. “When I was thinking about everyone wearing masks and guests not able to see their smile and the reaction, I thought ‘We’re not robots. We have personality.’ With the photo you gain some of that back.”

Guests can enjoy Davio’s famous spring rolls, raw bar tower, homemade pasta dishes and more seven days a week. The restaurant’s full menu is available for lunch, dinner and takeout, and Davio’s is currently offering patio and indoor dining.
