Trader Joe’s takes top spot while Bass Pro Shops rounds out top three
February 3, 2020 – Patriot Place is excited to congratulate Trader Joe’s and Bass Pro Shops on their well-deserved ranking in the top three of the 2020 Retail Reputation Report. The report tabbed Trader Joe’s as the most reputable brand in the country and had Bass Pro Shops rounding out the top three.

The Reputation.com report analyzes over five million consumer reviews on Google, Facebook and other online review sites for detailed in-store shopping experiences for 100 leading retailers across 30,000 locations, while also considering account data from business listings, social media, search results and consumer engagements. Taking this data into account, the retailers are then ranked based on three categories: frictionless shopping, authentic relationships/brand promise and overall store environment.
Grocery store-favorite Trader Joe’s made the jump to the top spot after being ranked second in the 2018 report and owns an average star rating of 4.62 on the five-point scale. With top marks in overall frictionless experience (66 percent) and overall authenticity/brand promise (85.25 percent), patrons enjoyed a top-tier experience throughout 2019.
The highest-ranked sports goods and apparel store in the nation, Bass Pro Shops made the jump to the third spot after being ranked 12th in last year’s report. Recognized for an unmatched shopping environment, Bass Pro Shops boasts an average star rating of 4.51 out of five and the unique store was also recognized for its overall frictionless experience. Patriot Place features the first Bass Pro Shops location in the New England region.
