A sample of our exhibitors includes:

Jack Gannon

Jack’s love to explore and his unique vision on life are the makings of a great photographer.  He is a “street photographer” with an eye for the beautiful and the unusual.  His work, exhibited at numerous festivals & galleries, hangs in homes and offices all around the world.

Jack travels the globe photographing the people, the culture and the beauty within each big city & small village he explores and many times he finds himself in areas where tourists are rarely seen.

“I just love showing people the beauty that exists within the world today!”

Frank Quinn
Frank began painting 25 years ago, when his wife JoAnn gave him a painting set for Christmas. Since then he has studied under three outstanding teachers: Barbara McAuliffe, Susan Kelley and Kim (Morin) Weineck.  He paints exclusively in oils and prefers painting portraits and cityscapes.
A resident of Walpole, he has long been active in the Foxboro Art Association and for the past year and a half has worked with BJ Bjork to help produce the Foxboro Cable Access television show “Let’s Paint the Town with BJ Bjork.” He is a signature member of the Neponset Valley Artists.

Ann Gorbett
Ann paints exclusively with a palette knife to create her oil paintings because she loves the thick, painterly strokes of color she can create with it. Her work ranges in subject matter from city scenes to florals to figurative paintings based on nostalgic family photographs. Ann is a Walpole resident, a member of the Foxboro Art Association, the Neponset Valley Artists, and the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod. She holds a fine art degree from Miami University of Ohio and has worked as a professional graphic designer in Boston for many years.

You can view portfolios of her work as well keep up to date with her most recent paintings by checking her blog at anngorbett.blogspot.com.

Polo Barrera
Polo has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and is an award winning
graphic designer. His paintings have been recognized for their inspired interpretations of nature. Polo resides in Walpole Mass and is a member of the Foxboro Art Association and the Neponset Valley Artists.

Donna MacLure
Donna often paints familiar, everyday objects, and by using good design and vibrant color, can make even the most mundane subjects look beautiful.  Working mainly from photos, Donna begins with a rough sketch, painting loose and wet at first, and then reigns in to create a more detailed, finished piece.

Donna has been painting in Watercolor for 13 years and has studied with many nationally known teachers.  Her work has been widely exhibited both locally and internationally, and can be found in galleries though out New England, as well as in several private collections worldwide. Besides the Artists’ Studio & Gallery at Patriot Place, you can also see her work at the Next Door Gallery in Mansfield, the Preservation Gallery in North Attleboro, and Gallery 9 in Norwood.

Donna is a Signature Member of both the Rhode Island Watercolor Society and the New England Watercolor Society. She is an artist member of the New England Watercolor Society, North Shore Arts Association, the Attleboro Arts Museum, North East Watercolor Society and the Foxboro and Mansfield Art Associations. Donna paints daily in her home studio in the beautiful Sheldonville section of Wrentham, Massachusetts.

Kathleen Harwood Hutchinson

Kathleen Harwood Hutchinson began her art career in Walpole,  learning the techniques of portrait painting from her mother, Dorothy Harwood, and immersing herself in the Walpole High School Art program, where she received the Walpole Arts Council award.  She attended Bridgewater State College for a degree in Elementary Education, with a minor in Art.  Her first art show was at Bridgewater State College, focusing on her independent study in pastels.  Over the years, she has experimented with various media, including oils, pen and ink, watercolors, and acrylics, but has always come back to her beloved box of pastels.

Although Kathy took a slight detour from her art to work and raise a family, in the past few years she has returned to it with the help of accomplished instructors and Walpole artists, Rose Marie Doherty, Susan Kelley, and Kim Morin Weineck.  She has entered and received ribbons in many of the local juried exhibits.

She is the past president of the Foxboro Art Association, and a member of the Neponset Valley Artists and the Norwood Art Association.  A strong advocate for all the arts, she has participated in the Walpole Arts and History program, for whom she designed the cover of their acoustic CD, Walpole Rocks II.  She was an active member of Walpole’s Dog Rock Coffeehouse, and designs window displays at the Walpole Town Hall for the Walpole Historical Society.

Kathy lives in Norfolk, Massachusetts with her husband, Steven – her muse – her college-aged children Conor and Bridget – her additional inspirations- and her cairn terrier Gilly, whose required daily strolls through the neighborhood help her view the world en plein air.
