Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse Owner Steve DiFillippo and Corporate Chef Rodney Murillo are teaming up with former Boston Patriot Gino Cappelletti in the Kick Hunger Challenge at the Taste of the NFL’s annual event in Indianapolis – site of the Super Bowl XLV
The Davio’s team, representing our community, will compete again Chefs and NFL team members or alumni from 31 other NFL cities on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012 at Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana.
DiFillippo, Chef Murillo and Cappelletti will be serving our signature Bolognese with Hand-Rolled Potato Gnocchi.
This popular event, The Party with a Purpose, will offer:
- Regional Food and Wines from across the nation
- Live Entertainment
- Silent Auction with unique sports memorabilia and more
- TV and Sports Celebrities
The Purpose: Raise awareness and dollars for hunger relief organizations in America
How can you participate: - General Mills Foundation has already given $100,000 and challenges NFL fans across the country to match their donations. When matches, $200,000 of donations will provide 1.2 million meals!
